ふるい しんぶんを リサイクルします。Furui shinbun wo risaikuru shimasu.I recycle old newspapers.
だめなdame na	no good, not allowed
ここで しゃしんを とっては だめです。Koko de shashin wo totte wa dame desu.Taking photos here is not allowed.
おなじ同じonaji	same
わたしと おなじ かばんですね。Watashi to onaji kaban desu ne.That's the same bag as mine.
けいさつ警察keisatsu	police
けいさつに でんわしました。Keisatsu ni denwa shimashita.I called the police.
せき席seki	seat
この せきは あいて いますか。Kono seki wa aite imasu ka.Is this seat free?

レポートの しめきりは あしたです。Repooto no shimekiri wa ashita desu.The report deadline is tomorrow.
きそく規則kisoku	rule
がっこうの きそくを まもります。Gakkou no kisoku wo mamorimasu.I follow the school rules.
きけん危険kiken	danger; dangerous
この かわは きけんです。Kono kawa wa kiken desu.This river is dangerous.
しようきんし使用禁止shiyou kinshi	do not use
この トイレは しようきんしです。Kono toire wa shiyou kinshi desu.This toilet must not be used.
たちいりきんし立入禁止tachiiri kinshi	keep out

じょこう徐行jokou	slow down
「じょこう」は ゆっくり はしれと いう いみです。"Jokou" wa yukkuri hashire to iu imi desu."Jokō" means "drive slowly".
いりぐち入口iriguchi	entrance
いりぐちは あちらです。Iriguchi wa achira desu.The entrance is over there.
でぐち出口deguchi	exit
でぐちは どこですか。Deguchi wa doko desu ka.Where is the exit?
ひじょうぐち非常口hijouguchi	emergency exit
ひじょうぐちは あそこです。Hijouguchi wa asoko desu.The emergency exit is over there.
わりびき割引waribiki	discount
この みせは がくせいわりびきが あります。Kono mise wa gakusei waribiki ga arimasu.This shop has a student discount.
のみほうだい飲み放題nomihoudai	all you can drink
パーティーは のみほうだいです。Paateii wa nomihoudai desu.The party is all you can drink.
しようちゅう使用中shiyouchuu	in use, occupied
トイレは いま しようちゅうです。Toire wa ima shiyouchuu desu.The toilet is occupied.

「アルバイト ぼしゅうちゅう」と かいて あります。"Arubaito boshuuchuu" to kaite arimasu.It says "Part-timers: now recruiting".

ここに くるまを とめると ちゅうしゃいはんですよ。Koko ni kuruma wo tomeru to chuusha ihan desu yo.If you park here, it's a parking violation.
ばっきん罰金bakkin	fine
ばっきんを はらいました。Bakkin wo haraimashita.I paid a fine.
おきます起きますokimasu	to happen
じしんが おきました。Jishin ga okimashita.There was an earthquake.
たすけあいます助け合いますtasukeaimasu	to help each other
こまった ときは たすけあいましょう。Komatta toki wa tasukeaimashou.Let's help each other when in trouble.
もともとmotomoto	originally
この たてものは もともと がっこうでした。Kono tatemono wa motomoto gakkou deshita.This building was originally a school.
かなしい悲しいkanashii	sad
その はなしは かなしいです。Sono hanashi wa kanashii desu.That story is sad.

あいさつaisatsu	greeting
