These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Nihongo Sensei mobile application ("the App"), published by Paul Campos Gil ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Nihongo Sensei is an educational application for learning Japanese, organized lesson by lesson (Lessons 1–25, JLPT N5 level) following the standard beginner Japanese curriculum. It provides vocabulary drills, kanji and kana study tools, grammar reference, and a spaced-repetition study system. The App is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any textbook publisher.
The App and all 25 lessons are provided free of charge. This version contains no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.
You agree to use the App only for its intended educational purpose, and not to attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the App's operation or fair use by other users.
The App's design, code, and original content (including example sentences, the Memory Engine, and UI) are our property. Vocabulary and grammar structures reference publicly documented Japanese-language curricula for educational purposes.
The App is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will result in any particular learning outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
