How do I switch between Spanish and English?
Open the menu (··· in the top right corner) and tap Language. The app restarts in the selected language immediately.
Is the app free?
The course is free: all 30 lessons, the vocabulary with audio, the sentences, kanji and kana — with no ads and no account. Some extras are paid: the Dojo training rooms and the guided classes from Lesson 4 onwards (the first three are free). The price and any introductory offer are shown in the App Store or Google Play before you buy.
Is my study progress backed up?
Your progress is stored on your device. It is not synced to a server or iCloud. If you delete the app or switch devices, your progress is reset. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What course does this app follow?
Nihongo Sensei is organized lesson by lesson (Lessons 1–30), following the standard beginner Japanese curriculum at approximately JLPT N5 level. It is an independent study tool.
